Production

Our steel comes in 7.5 tons rolls, which are slitted into 3 x 340 mm wide strips for Copper coating.

We use our own know-how electrolytic Copper coating method.
We can control Copper coating thickness between 1.5 μ to 5.0μ
Current production capacity is 7,000 tons/year

Slitting to different widths for different diameters of tubing.

Total production capacity is more than 50 million meters per year.
Currently, Net Boru produces the following diameters.
Ø4,75mm (3/16")
Ø6,00mm (15/64")
Ø6,35mm (1/4")
Ø8,00mm (5/16")

Depending on demand; production of tubes with 3 mm O.D. and 8 mm O.D. is also possible.

2- High pressure resistance for bursting
3- Easy bending and forming characteristics
4- Smooth cross section overlap

Excessive quality controls such as;
1- On-line Eddy Check (on the tube mills).
2- Off-line Eddy Check (off the tube mills).

Net Boru uses contact welding instead of induction welding with its know-how technology. We use our own technology by using low energy which allows us to perform total surface welding and copper to melt at 1200 C by a 40cm oven.

Net Boru applies Zinc/Aluminum alloy (Galfan) + PolyAmide12coating on top of Copper coated tubes for excellent corrosion and chipping protection. This coating is used mainly by American OEMs.

Poke-yoke is implemented at multiple points of the coating process, so that error-free manufacturing is achieved without human interface.

Net Boru applies E-Zinc + PolyAmide 12 or PolyAmide 612 coating on top of Copper Coated Tubes for excellent corrosion and chipping protection depending on our customers’ specifications.

Our cutting line is fully automated and operates at high speeds to assure high production rates.

Galfan+PA12 coated tubes are cut to different lengths which can vary according to our customers’ requirements.

Net Boru uses its own technology and tool shop for producing tube mills. We use state of art tooling CNC machines such as OKUMA and SPINNER. This gives Net Boru the advantage to control tolerances for making rolls, mills, ovens for welding and the beveling groups.

Maintenance and repair times are minimized by having the machinery shop in house.
